Phoenix Grants for Musicians with Disabilities

Phoenix Grants for Musicians with Disabilities offer financial assistance to those who are studying music, or those currently working as a professional musician or composer, and who have a physical or sensory disability that directly affects their ability to participate in their musical activity.

The Grants can be used towards the following:

  • Adaptation of musical instruments
  • Purchasing specially adapted instruments
  • Instrumental/compositional accessories or aids such as instrument cases, computer software or braille facilities
  • Assisting with essential expenses in relation to study or performance, including provision of wheelchairs or travel expenses
  • Additional private lessons which are necessary due to a disability
